Our group is part of the Marketplace Leaders affinity group and includes men and women who are focused on applying Christian principles in carrying out God’s First Commission. For this session, our group will be reading and discussing the book Disentangled, a book that pairs biblical insight and psychological tools to better manage your thoughts and emotions as you seek to become more like Christ. We are called to live for Christ but that can be difficult with a tangle of distracting thoughts and painful emotions. The book will encourage us to throw off everything that hinders and entangles us and fix our eyes on Jesus-as we run the race!! For this all you need to do is read approximately one chapter each week and come prepared to discuss your thoughts and listen to others on Monday morning. As our group often mentions, the Monday morning meetings are a great way to start your week.
